A groundbreaking announcement from visitPA.com
Welcome! The link below will take you to an archived webcast of a press conference announcing a groundbreaking marriage of tourism and technology—one that will let you explore Pennsylvania's Civil War historic sites via three-dimensional fly-throughs. Google Earth technology provides for a visual display of information about a specific location. Building on this platform, the Pennsylvania Tourism Office will incorporate a new technology developed through the Global Connection Project, a partnership that includes CMU, Google, and NASA's Ames Research Center.
