Cashtown

Cashtown is small in size but rich in Civil War history. The Confederate troops under the command of General A.P. Hill marched through the town in 1863 on their way to Gettysburg. The historic Cashtown Inn (circa 1797) is said to have had more Confederates pass through its doors than any other inn north of Richmond. The inn still stands, offering rooms and dine dining for those passing through town today.
