The Chambersburg Heritage Center is located at the scenic center of Franklin County's seat, Chambersburg, PA. The Heritage Center is open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Saturdays are April - Dec only). The Heritage Center provides visitors with information on the founding of Chambersburg, the role of Chambersburg in the Civil War and the importance of the Franklin County area to transportation and industry. A children's room and gift shop are available. The Heritage Center is an initiative of the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce and can provide visitors with information on the local area as well.
