APPLE HARVEST FESTIVALS

1. Weaver’s Orchard

Morgantown

Weaver’s Orchard in Morgantown celebrates Johnny Appleseed Day, which is all about pick-your-own apples! During September, make your way to the orchard for hayrides, apple treats, apple cider, and baked apple desserts.

2. Grim’s Orchard & Family Farms

Breinigsville

Grim’s Orchard & Family Farms will host its annual Fall Festival mid-September through October 31st and feature attractions like a corn maze, play corral, hayrides, and pick-your-own apples and pumpkins! There are over 20 varieties of apples to choose from along with other farm favorites.

3. Peddler’s Apple Festival

New Hope

Celebrate apple season this November with a side of charming small town during the Peddler’s Village Annual Apple Festival! Take part in a long-held tradition in a historic village with colonial-style buildings, beautiful gardens, and offering unique shopping, dining, and lodging too.

4. Hollabaugh Bros. Fruit and Farm Market

Biglerville

Come stock up on all things apple at Hollabaugh Bros. Fruit and Farm Market in Biglerville. Offering a variety of apple samplings, gallons of delicious apple cider, and fresh apple baked goods baked in-house. Stop on by their Apple Harvest Festival this October to get the ultimate apple fix this fall!

5. Gray’s Apple Ridge Orchard

Jonestown

Choose from an array of fresh apples from Jonestown’s Gray’s Apple Ridge Orchard from September 8th to mid-November. Check out their selection to stock up on crisp, flavorful, and brightly colored apples for your family this season. Need sustenance after an afternoon of apple-picking? Bring your own picnic to enjoy along the Swatara Creek or near the orchard!

6. Davenport Fruit Farm

Meadville

Davenport Fruit Farm offers a wide selection of apples that are as good fresh off the tree as they are baked into your favorite treats. They currently offer Honey Crisps, McIntosh, Northern Spy, Red Fuji, and Cortland. For those without kitchen skills — fear not! Pick up one of their pre-made mixes to make baking with your delicious apple haul a cinch.

7. Solebury Orchards

New Hope

Located in the heart of scenic Bucks County, Solebury Orchards surround apple pickers with beautiful fields and orchards. From August through early November, go out to the orchard and choose from their many seasonal offerings. Reservations for apple picking on weekends will be required starting September 11th.
