The Annual Traveler Profile report provides a comprehensive overview and analysis of Pennsylvania’s domestic leisure and business travel markets, as well as comparisons with the US travel market. The report includes estimates of travel volume and direct travel spending; main demographic, travel behavior, and trip characteristics; and key origin markets for both the state and designated tourism regions.
The Pennsylvania Tourism Office chose a new vendor (Longwoods International) to produce the annual travel profile report starting with the 2009 calendar year data. As a result, comparisons with data from prior reports is not reccommended.
